Platinum Resistance Thermometer (PRT)

In the past, 3.2mm or more diameter of PRT probes were the smallest, so thermocouples were used for the application, where small diameter probe was necessary. Thermocouples, however, are unstable of output (if a lot is different) and lower accuracy.
We have developed the extremely small 100Ω PRT elements, which can be set into φ0.5mm sheath pipe. Due to using PRT, higher stability, higher accuracy and fast response are realized (up to 350ºC). PRT is now available for wide application, instead of thermocouples. This capillary type PRT allows you to measure the temperature of the small place or the narrow space ACCURATELY.
