   X-TECH produces both end-window and side-window X-ray tubes
and X-ray heads.

   They are available:

Potted
Completely packaged and shielded
Part of a complete system
   Both end-window and side-window tubes are available with
either the filament or the target grounded.

   For extreamly close optical coupling, a grounded beryllium 
window-target is recommended. A thin layer of target material
is deposited directly on the beryllium window. This close 
target-sample coupling considerably reduces tube power requirement 
and enhances equipment portability.

   The grounded filament, end-window design offers higher 
beam power dissipation and is suitable for applications where
higher power is required.
