    AFM Scanner Upgrade Features
    nPoint offers two and three axes closed-loop scanners that integrate easily with the Dimension™, Bioscope™ and Multimode™ atomic force microscopes from Veeco and the Q-Scope 250™ and Q-Scope 350™ from Quesant.

    Our closed-loop systems offer scanning ranges up to 400 μm in X and Y axes and 100μm in the Z axis. They provide better than 99.95% linearity along with ultra low out-of-plane motion. These features significantly enhance the AFM capabilities while still delivering high resolution images.

    The new 300 Series DSP Controller brings enhanced flexibility, speed, and control reliability to nPoint’s custom and standard nanopositioning products.
    The nPoint 300-Series DSP Controller uses PID (proportional-integraldifferential) control algorithms and an integral capacitive position sensor to achieve ultra-precise closed-loop nanopositioning control with a high degree of application flexibility.
    The controller also offers enhanced response time without altering the accuracy and repeatability of the nanopositioner. Its low-noise capacitive sensing module and 20 bit effective resolution offers sub-nanometer resolution at up to 200 micrometers range of motion.
