Compiled User Data Base (*.udb)

The MALT for windows can make use of user data as one of other target databases than MALT main database. This means that compounds will be retrieved in a similar manner as the MALT main database.

1. name
For this purpose, MALT will make management of the user data by compilation of the user text files (*.txt) to those files with extension of udb (*.udb). It is highly recommended to keep the user text file and the compiled database in the same file name with different extension.

2. file age
When the file age of the text file (*.txt) is later than that of the user database (*.udb), the warning message will be made for comfirmation.
