Tools > Data Format Conversion > Save In Format As

[Menu: Tools / Data Format Conversion / Save in Format As] is to save explicitly the edited mixture phases in the compound data file(*.mcd).

Since the same information can be included in the compound file, it is recommended to save the same information also as the compound file (*.mcf).

Note that the format of this MALT compound data file is not open to users. After saving in this file, no further editing can be made. This type of file can be read only from the MALT related software gem and CHD.

Additional information : When the title includes "*", the same information can be stored in the file "*.dat" which can be only readable from CHD. This is for special purpose to provide the additional thermodynamic information for the non ideal mixutes such as Redlich-Kister formalism. For details, see manual of CHD.
