User's data can be used in the MALT database system togather with the compounds stored in the MALT Main database. To do so, the following points are adopted:
- User data are stored as a text file with the specified format (*.txt).
- User text file is compiled into the database format (*.udb). This format is binary so that it is not possible for user to read it. For editing user data, the text file should be used. Instead, editing user data can be made inside the MALT database system.
- Although several user databases can be created and saved, only one user database can be selected as target database.
For use of users data, the following submenus are prepared:
- Requirement
- ReadAll : One user database should be loaded.
- Add : One user database should be loaded.
- Edit : One user database should be loaded. The compound stored in Main MALT database can be edited and will be saved in the user database.
- Delete : Only those comppounds stored in the user database can be selected in the "REad All" mode.
