CHD Main Form provides a basis of handling many functions of CHD commands/menus.

1. [project]
• Task to be made in CHD is based on the idea of "project."
• One project is to construct diagrams for a particular chemical system. When a chemical system is changed, one project is ended and another project starts.
• One project can specify conditions to draw a main diagram. When one of those conditions is changed, the diagram will be replaced by a new diagram.
• A main diagram can have a series of sub diagrams; they are dissected diagrams or profile diagrams. When the main diagram is changed, such sub diagrams will also disappear.
2. [Size of Form]
• The Size of the Main Form can be changed by moving one of corners or one of edges by mouse.

1. Main Display Panel
   To Top (2) Main ToolBar (3) Right Dock Panel
   
   This is for displaying the diagram which has been constructed under the specified conditions.
   The Display Zoom factor can be changed by "Zoom" buttons.
   The location of Diagram in the Panel can be change by using the Horizontal Scroll bar or the Vertical Scroll bar.
   
   Main List Box
   
   This is for showing the log list of procedures for constructing diagram.
   In this case, user should use the tool button of list
   This is also used to show data file when reading the thermodynamic data from the selected file was failed.
   The list box can be scrolled by the vertical scroll bar.
   The font in the List can be change in

   View > Message Font

   Main Status Bar
   
   Messages will be displayed upon the procedures to be done.
   For Tool bars, long hints appears.
   During Run/Calculation : Compiling messages will appear.
   On moving cursor on the diagram, the information of touched point will be given.
   Main Horizontal Scrollbar and Main Vertical Scrollbar
   
   The location of the displayed diagram can be moved in the horizontal / vertical direction by using this bar. This minimum and maximum limits in position are 0, and 1000. The default position is 500. By using combobox for X / Y position, the position can be determined by numerically.
2. ToolBar

   This is a container for toolbars. The toolbars to be displayed can be selected by right click on the present Tool bar or from

   View > Toolbar

   Main ToolBar / Main Menu
   
   The main menu is stored as tool bar. The details of respective menus are described in the What can be done with CHD in CHD main help file. Menus in CHD
   Main ToolBar / Main Diagram
   
   This provides tool buttons for

   	File > Open File
   	File > Reopen
   	File > MALT Direct
   	File > Chemical System
   	File > Specification of Diagram
   	File > Calculation
   	File > Dissection
   	File > Swing Dissection
   	File > Many Dissections
   	File > Range
   	File > Rotation

   Main ToolBar / TableList
   
   This provides tool buttons for Compound List and Graph Inspector
   

   	View > Compound List
   	View > Graph Inspector

   Main Toolbar / Diagram Display
   
   This provides tool buttons for

   	Diagram > Display Mode > Normal Diagram Display Mode
   	Diagram > Display Mode > Touch Diagram Mode
   	Diagram > Display Mode > Draw Line Mode
   	Diagram > Display Mode > Move Location Mode

   Main ToolBar / Zoom
   
   This provides tool buttons for

   	Diagram > Diagram Size > Zoom Down
   	Diagram > Diagram Size > Zoom +-
   	Diagram > Diagram Size > Zoom up

   Main ToolBar / combobox Zoom Factor
   
   The Zoom Factor for displaying the diagram can be directly edited here. The default value is 100. Typical value can be selected among the listed values in the pull down list. A value can be directly input in the edit field.
   Main ToolBar / ZoomFActor
   Zoom factor can be selected by using spin edits and scroll bar. This is valid only when Zoom Plum/Minus button is clicked.
   Main ToolBar / spein edit Zoom Factor Start
   
   The lower limit for scrolling values is given by this value.
   Main ToolBar / Scrollbar for Zoom Factor
   The value can be selected between the lower and higher limits.
   Main ToolBar / spin edit Zoom Factor End
   
   The higher limit for scrolling values is given by this value.
   Main ToolBar / Zoom Origin
   Zoom origin can be changed by directly editing those values in the edit fields, scrolling the horizontal or vertical scrollbar in the display panel, or clicking on the display panel. In the last case, the clicked point moves to the central point of the display panel. Main spin edit Position X / Y
   
   When the horizontal / vertical scroll bar is manipulated, a new value is displayed here. When users edit this value, the scroll bar is adjusted to give a new horizontal / vertical scroll position.
   Main ToolBar / Log list
   
   This provides tool buttons for

   	loglist
   	Save Screen

   The log list button is a switch for displaying Diagram Disply Panel or list box.
3. Right Dock Panel
   Bottom Dock Panel
   To Top (1) Main Display Panel (2) Main ToolBar
   
   This is a host panel for docking other forms: Dockable forms are Secondary Display panel for drawing diagrams, String Grid Form for displaying chemical potential tables
