[Select Fixation] Dialog Help
This Dialog is for determination of Fixation, One Dissection, Many Dissection and Additional Lines. For Fixation and One Dissecton, one Fixed value should be determined (see 4a), whereas for Many Dissection and Additional Lines, selected values should be determined by editing the start value, end value and step value (see 4b).
To Specify one Fixation,
- Select Fixation Type between Dimension Type and Compound Type.
Then, the candidates for Dimensions/Compounds for the selected fixation type will be updated in the list of candidates.

2a) Dimension Type Fixation:
Select one of candidates, and then selected coordinate will be displayed in the lower display panel.
2b) Compound Type Fixation
Select one candidate, and then a new dialog for determine the coefficient of the select compound will appear. The currently adopted variable will be displayed in the lower display panel..
- Fixed Type
This can be selected for the Dimension type and the Compound type, respectively. Candidates for fixed type are
- Chemical Potential
- logarithmic activity
- natural logarithmic Activity
- Activity
- Standard Gibbs energy
- Determination of Value(values)
4a) Enter the fixed value.
4b) Enter the selected values for
- Start value
- End value
- Step value
The lines corresponding to values by this step will appear in the diagram to be constructed.
Default values are given for respective values.
Confirm by OK button, or reselect again in the list box.
To Modity
To modify the selected compound-type variable for fixation and one dissection, the following can be made;
- those compounds to be modified should be selected in the list of compounds;
- In the Coefficient Form, check box for remove should be clicked when the compound will be removed from the variable. When the coefficient value should be changed, the reenter is checked and the new value should be selected or edited.
- A new compound can be selected by clicking on the list of compounds.
- When the fixed value or specified value will be changed, the value can be edited directly in the editing field.
To modify for many dissections and additional lines,
- On changing the compound type variable, the default values for starting, ending and step values will be renewed.
