Making (La, Mn, Zr, ZrO2) Transparent
The chemical potential diagram for the La-Mn-Zr-O system at 1273 K.
- Diagram : The three dimensional diagram in the μ(La)-μ(Mn)-μ(Zr) plot.

- This diagram should be compared with Example 4a which shows the diagram in the same system but without any making transparent.
- This should be also compared with Example 3b which shows the diagram in the same system under the condition of a (ZrO2) = 1.0.
- Since the ZrO2 phase is made transparent, the appearing phases, MnO, Mn3O4, Mn2O3, MnO2, LaMnO3, La2Zr2O7, are in equilibrium with ZrO2. In this sense, the phase arrangement is similar to those in Example 3b.
